Temperature of the water in a bathtub

Hot water or cold water are two polar points but both are not suited for everyone. Duration of the bathing

Depending on the purpose the duration and of course the temperature may change. Average time for soaking in the bathtub is around 10-20 minutes.

Relaxation and detoxing

In both case salt may be used, the temperature of the water is around 35C, the duration starts from 10 minutes and up to 20 minutes. Warm water in this case helps to open pore and clean the cells of the skin naturally. If the purpose of bathing is to tone up the body then the temperature may be a little lower.

Headaches, cold and flu symptoms

Having such problems like headache, it’s better to use a little bit more than just warm water for bathing. The duration should be around 10-20 minutes. When it’s about cold and flu symptoms doctors recommend putting only feet up to the ankles into the hot water and wait for 20 minutes. Preferably to add some “positive” oils like lemon or peppermint and finish the procedure putting feet into the cold water for a moment.

Skin problems

Skin problems like psoriasis, eczema, different rashes can be solved with help of warm bathing and

essential oils. It’s not stated that only bathing will help but in addition to medical prescription the process will go faster. The ingredients to pour into the water are soda that works like antiseptic and while the pores are open it helps to clean them up immediately plus some oils that moisture skin and nourish it with vitamins and minerals. In this case, the duration of your bath time should be no more than 20 minutes.
